anyways I found some mouse droppings in the basement this morning and about to let the cat down there to earn his fucking keep

 

once he wakes up from his 20 hour nap

 

He lives a hard life, don't be so harsh

our house backs up to a creek, and when it rains a ton we typically get 1 or 2 since they seek shelter. Caught 2 and thought we were good. Last night my wife saw one run across the kitchen and i am so grossed out lol I put down a bunch more traps

 

This is so sad lol. How did they get to this point when they were the first team to start putting in interview requests??

 

I have taken literally zero journalism classes and have zero writing background

If Matt can’t get the job I certainly can’t. I wish they wanted a football strategy nerd who they could TRAIN to be a responsible journalist but that’s unfortunately not how it works. Most organizations like that recognize that good journalism gets attention regardless whether it’s strategically accurate or way off.

the other week we had one in the second floor bedroom, wife was so grossed out she slept in the spare room the whole weekend and we didn't catch it lol. haven't seen it since but I was doing laundry and noticed droppings down there so im hoping it is the same mouse, terminix's traps they set up looked like the bait was gone in it, which is believable, this mouse was a lil baby.

but we also live about half a block from a train yard/field so im assuming when it gets cold they seek shelter also

brother this little shit is the only thing keeping me sane alright

 

the exterminator we had out a few weeks back said that once a mouse is through your house once, it can go through again and again blind. thats how good their memory is. So he told us if you don't catch it after a day or two, move the traps or change up their location slightly to throw them off.

oh nice I might have to try that, its the same corner we had caught a mouse earlier this winter too and I foamed a hole I thought they were coming in, but I guess not lol

otherwise terminix said they would come back out for free if we want them to, but feels like it would be pointless if it is just to set more traps lol
