I trust @CarpetElf and @Night Channels for draft stuff more than I would trust the twinks at The Ringer

 

to be fair would you feel THIS way if the article wasn’t about the Jets

I’m starting to trust myself more than most draft resources as well lol. I like to use them as a starting point but generally when I have seen a bunch of college film and decide “okay these are the players I think are ACTUALLY good and not just okay” I have a decent enough hit rate

 

Being biased against a great player because he's a piece of shit and also in your division is much different than following a team closely for almost 30 years and having a pretty good understanding of what's going on with them.

Nearly all of the stuff in that article was reported at some point.

We knew Rodgers had tons of input into all the ex-Packer signings.
We knew Hackett only had a job because of Rodgers.
We knew that Zach Wilson didn't want to play after being benched.

Saleh being upset that he had an assistant coach anonymously leaking stuff to The Athletic is understandable. I feel most coaches would react similarly.

Using not signing Colt McCoy and Chad Henne against Joe Douglas is not journalism. It's nonsense. If anyone brought those QBs up for Minnesota or Pittsburgh, they'd be laughed at too.

Taking credit for motivating Zach to play is also one of the most ridiculous things I've seen from this shitty NYJ beat in a decade and we had a reporter that stalked the GM's kid.

Claiming they interviewed 30 sources for that is absurd. It's like two guys (both no longer with the team) and an opposing GM rightfully talking shit.
