I want to see Parsons play without a top-level defensive mind. I don't think he'd be nearly as effective

It's stuff that was mostly reported throughout the season with very little detail added.

 

Russini and Rosenblatt take credit for convincing Zach Wilson to play after he was benched.

There's some interesting stuff in there, but it's mostly ridiculous.

I think there are lots of people on the Cowboys defense that will not perform well without Dan Quinn or a good defensive coordinator, and Micah Parsons is not one of them

 

I'm saying I don't think he'd be thought of as a top-level pass rusher if he didn't have someone like Quinn coaching him up, moving him around the formation, lining him up against the weakest offensive lineman, etc. He benefits from his coaching situation more than Watt, Crosby, etc.

 

Never said he wouldn't perform well. I said he wouldn't be as good

 

That feels like one of the easier parts of coordinating the defense though that most coaches could do (I mean, shit, I could scheme Parsons to a weaker blocker). I don't think that'd be an issue at all. The issue would 100% be everyone else
