Well I don't live in FW, so you're still further north than I am lol I'm closer to Midlothian right now

Oh nice, yeah it's fine. Of the bigger towns near it it's the best of Red Oak and Waxahachie lol racist ass towns

Yeah it's WAY better than Waxahachie haha (not as familiar with Red Oak but I assume it's more of the same). My sister moved out there specifically to be able to have enough land for a horse. As a horse hater I was baffled but oh well live your life I guess

She rode horses as a kid and my mom rode horses during that time as well (which is how she ended up broke) and I just hated (and still hate) horse culture so much

Haha Red Oak is just a shitter Waxahachie. That makes sense, land is still kind of cheaper there comparatively. I don't know what the fuck is up with Waxahachie and Midlothian that both towns fucking hate dogs, at least in my experience with my "aggressive" dog

Honestly probably downtown Galveston

 

I have so many friends who still go there and swear by it and I just assume it's because they never been out of the state.

 

I'ma stand by my general area being very underrated, it's got good balance of things to do and general quietness and a diverse school district and is close to any area in the metroplex you'd wanna go outside of Denton

 

Dallas

 

Arlington/Grand Prairie are very neat, can confirm

 

New Braunfels is pretty stellar

but ihavent been in years

 

I was kinda hesitant to move here just because I was much more of a North Dallas guy for a long time but once I did it just felt perfect

 

I hear El Paso is/can be a good time but I haven't really spent any time there ever and it's just sooooo far

 

I think people just tend to focus on the stadiums and stuff but there's a lot of really cool stuff to do there. Actually a big reason why I wanna move to Mansfield, I like being at least kinda close to that general area

 

I lived there till I was 12 and the only thing I remember is the mountains and elite Mexican food haha. It is a fun place if you like hiking and stuff but I don't really know what people do there now
