Brady did national radio stuff for MNF while he was still playing, and I thought he brought an interesting and insightful perspective and was pleasantly surprised by how good he was on that

this new trend of him being OldManYellsAtCloud.jpg online makes me a little more hesitant on him

 

Brady has always sucked as a personality, not excited

Warner didn’t get in because of overall stats though, he got in because everybody wrote him off MANY times (undrafted, didn’t get a a starting opportunity until 4 teams later, written off as injured / aging /short lived by the Rams and then again by the Giants) and he still had like 5 of the best seasons of all time in his limited starting opportunities at the point of his retirement

Also, he did the style of offense that made Peyton / Brees / Brady famous, first.

it’s more about lore and setting precedent than longevity or accumulated production, much like Boselli getting into the HOF
