So I’m at the Cheesecake Factory cause we ended up with gift cards from a secret Santa and decided to use them.

The dude next to me ordered …. Meatloaf. So you know fucking what, LETS GOOOOOOO I’m ordering it too

 

More power to you Donnie, I personally would NEVER choose meatloaf out of 200+ menu items lol

though to be fair the one time I went to Cheesecake Factory I ordered a ribeye which is also a boring choice at a non steakhouse

 

The Meatloaf Factory

 

The Cheesecake Factory menu is absurd. I have like 100 dollars in gift cards that I’ve had for years but it’s just not a place I ever go to.

 

Yeah I figured since it’s the Cheesecake Factory and we kinda just came here on a whim (cause we were already at the mall) so I figured it was worth the sacrifice (and I’ve had a meatloaf craving)

if it was like a night out to get a dinner as the priority I may have been thinking steak haha

i've never been to nor have i ever had the urge to go to cheesecake factory

 

love waking up from a 5 hour nap and still having half a beer right there to finish

 

Hell yeah king, love a steak, but on the other hand… do you eat anything other than red meat because I am very concerned for your health hahaha

 

Yeah you don’t really need to. It’s fine. It’s a solid, upscale-ish but not ridiculously priced, chain restaurant. It’s not going to be the experience of a lifetime and it’s not going to be that unique.

 

for the longest time i thought cheesecake factory just made cheesecake and maybe other pastries and was confused why people went there for dinner

 

Cheesecake Factory’s “thing” is they make everything. The name is weird cause they actually sell a BUNCH of different cakes and pies etc you can buy and take home, and then their restaurant has literally like 200 entrees across several pages of menu.

But they essentially specialize in nothing, is how I see it as someone with a restaurant career so far. It bothers me so much when a restaurant doesn’t even have a concept. It over complicates the SHIT out of the job and is never good for having an efficient kitchen lol

however if you’re going to a nice dinner with a bunch of picky eaters then it’s perfect. They do have something for everybody. No one’s gonna sulk and act like nothing on the menu is suitable for them

Believe it or not I don’t eat AS MUCH red meat as portrayed lol I do limit my beefs!

Mostly during the week we cook and it’s usually chicken/ground turkey/meat less. I get bad heart burn so I will try to limit my red meat intake each week, but maybe once a weekend I’ll get something and be very pumped for it! Which here seems like every day hahaha

 

When my meatloaf got delivered to my table the older gentleman next to me commented how he is SUCH a meatloafer and gets it everywhere. His wife showed me a photo of him with all his meatloafs every time. When he left I said: “happy meatloafing” and he gave me a pat on my back!
