Yeah, for me, a lot of my opinions are based on what I’m able to watch, in addition to what I hear/read about on podcasts or online. It’s just all we really have to work off of.

  2. Look I’m just looking for the Steelers to hire someone that has an offense that was devised within the last 20 years

And it’s also worth mentioning that some people are perhaps better suited for position coach positions than OC and/or playcalling. Brian Johnson is a prime example. He was praised for his work with Hurts from 2021-2022 and was getting OC interest around the league last offseason before the Eagles promoted him.

He didn’t have a good feel to calling plays, but there was also drama behind the scenes with reports that Sirianni was playing a hand in calling plays at times throughout games that caused players to question who was really calling the shots. There was a recent report that Johnson felt constrained to what Sirianni wanted him to do.

It’s all stuff we’ll likely never know so I think it’s worth remaining optimistic about what Johnson might do elsewhere as an OC. It just wasn’t going to work out in Philly.

So if, say, Jerrod Johnson gets an OC job and is calling plays, it’s worth keeping in mind that any potential struggles could be due to the head coach rather than the QB he has to work with, or visa versa.

I am really interested in seeing what happens with Jerrod. It’ll be tough for him to take so much credit considering Stroud was his QB, but he’s had experience working under Frank Reich, Kevin O’Connell, and now Bobby Slowik. He’s gotten experience from within different schemes and could pull concepts from various places he’s been. I think that’s great to see. That’s why I’d like the Eagles to hire him. I think teams could benefit from coaches like that.

Could it turn out that he’s a “master of none” type coach? Maybe, but he’s obviously worth taking a shot on with his background and his recent work with Stroud.

I think the most logical solution is for the Giants to simply not fill their ST Coordinator position yet until everything shakes out if he’s a strong candidate, but that makes too much sense in a hurry up and wait environment like the NFL pre-offseason, where everyone feels the need to make all their hires and staffing decisions before the playoffs end (and we hit a monthlong dead period that would be perfect for that) for some reason

  10. hes going to get an extension but if he whiffs on an oc and can’t find a qb then possibly. But he probably had another three years at least.

I think Pitt should cut ties if his philosophy towards the offense doesn’t change. OCs get a lot of blame but it’s the HC’s who vision a certain style that they think works.

Look at Belichick. His style worked because of Brady. Without Tom it didn’t work and the Pats knew they needed a change.

This right here is my dream car, man I wish I could own one of these one day

Nissan GT-Rs are outstanding track cars, this $60k vehicle can smoke much more expensive sports cars cause it drives so well.

It’s not fancy at all on the inside, no frills / unnecessary luxury to drive up the cost into several hundred K… just an awesome, responsive engine in every gear and great handling / suspension.
