-Houston we beat once by 3 points… after they whipped our ass by 20 in our own stadium in the first game. Houston also won the division. I would easily say Houston won the head to head, not us.

-Bills; we were up 25-7 and we got so relaxed / complacent / conservative that they almost came back and it was 25-20. Same exact thing happened in New Orleans too so it wasn’t a fuckin fluke. We narrowly escaped a game we didn’t keep our foot on the gas pedal

-Okay, but we did not score an offensive touchdown vs KC despite 4 red zone trips. A 17-9 game isn’t close like a 27-24 game is close. Our offense did not fucking execute and KC defense crushed them. Even if we got to the red zone a fifth time chances are it would’ve still ended in a 17-12 loss.

-we lost 23-7 at home dude. At no point did we control the game vs the Ravens. We had one long TD play to Agnew and that’s LITERALLY all our offense did. Don’t try to frame it like it’s close, their defense crushed us while ours couldn’t keep it up for four quarters. I was there, the audience was quiet almost the whole game, that’s how bad it was.

Oh, and what about the NFC teams in the playoffs? Oh right, we got our asses fucking KICKED by like 30 points against both SF and TB this year… and shit since he’s defending us keeping 21/22 starters, let’s go back to 2022 when we got our asses fucking kicked by Detroit AND Philly.


Baalke is just straight up bargaining with delusion about how last year went. You *dumb motherfucker*, almost every playoff team knocked our teeth out against those 21/22 starters. We are NOT a competitive team. We’re an over performing team that barely beat other *iffy* teams and got put in our place by everyone who’s actually GOOD. The 9-8 record exactly represents where we’re at, don’t be acting like it’s luck “the season didn’t go our way” give me a fucking break Baalke. You are getting paid WAY too much money to shrug your shoulders and be directly disingenuous about what happened.

 

Also VERY interesting that our offense played horrible in every single one of those games except vs Buffalo (a game we still almost gave away) but Press Taylor still has a job

I mean these are the games Baalke is pointing to, to try to make the point we were CLOSE and COMPETITIVE. What??? Even if he only looks at the box score and doesnt watch the games that’s still obviously wrong.
