I waited until the remake to play the first but the feel of the shooting in that are very close to Part 2, it just doesn't have any of the new mechanics that the second game introduced. Out of all of the games I've played since getting my PS5, I'd say that was my favorite out of all of them. I thought about that game for a long time after finishing it. It took a lot for me to not start it right back up afterward lol.

That makes sense haha, I didn't play the remake of the first, just the original and I really didn't enjoy playing it, which was a shame because I was so invested in what was going on. I'm glad to hear the remake feels close to part 2
