dc Talk’s Jesus Freak is in some ways a Rosetta Stone for my musical tastes. I also really loved TobyMac’s Portable Sounds, as far as 00s evangelical pop goes; haven’t heard it in forever.

Also got thoughts on church camps as someone who ran one for a couple years and is still spiritual/religious. But, I gotta get to work with sorting comics in a shop’s basement.

My mother-in-law got my wife and I tickets to see Newsboys last year, which is now fronted by a different former DC Talk member, and it was one of the worst concert experiences of my life, and we left early.
