Panthers are going to hire Canales

 

Not many bad teams have owners as shitty as Tepper though

 

I'm skipping a few pages of posts. But I saw Wish in theaters, and it is one of the most forgettable Disney movies in recent memory.

He certainly seems like the favorite right now. It’s hard to say if that’s just internet speculation because of his history with Morgan, or if he’s the legit leader. If I had to bet, I’d bet on him right now though.

I don’t really now a lot about him but the little bit of homework I’ve done so far, he seems fine. The good track record with QBs is intriguing and will get attention. But I’m more intrigued with the amount of time he spent in Seattle learning from Pete Carroll. The clips I’ve seen of Canales speaking, he is always referencing things Pete taught him or the way Pete does things. That’s a pretty good mentor imo. He kinda seems like a mix of the offensive guru / culture setter types.

This is definitely true. Nothing will matter until Tepper backs off. We’re being sold the idea of that happening. But I won’t believe it until it actually happens. And his behavior definitely hurts our chances and makes us less appealing than other openings. But there’s a difference between that and saying there’s no reason to want the Panthers job.

 

With no 1st rounder it's pretty much a Culley year for them but it sounds like they may get a better quality candidate than that

The main allure has to be a belief they can become a winning team within a couple years with Bryce Young

 

spill the beans. I ain’t doing all that work.

 

That’s the other part of it. Whoever is hired has to be a Bryce guy. And if you go by just his rookie season, it’s a tough sale. But I’d imagine these coaches are smarter than all of us (you’d hope) and can dissect whether or not it’s salvageable or not when the majority of the public opinion is that it can’t be salvaged.

 

Can't wait.

 

I wasnt saying no one wants to coach the Panthers. Im just curious what would draw a coach to them.

Fitterer didn’t have a good draft pick his entire 3 years as GM. It’s why the roster declined so quickly. We’ll learn if Tepper had a heavy hand, and continues to do so, soon.

 

I like Vrabel but he's not Belichick walking into that meeting. If you think coaches have big ego's.
