It just screams of “Hey, I know you because we worked together, sure I’ll interview you.” Wouldn’t be surprised to see Frank Reich’s name mentioned. Why hire someone outside your circle to potentially bring in new ideas?

Restructuring is digging a bigger hole in two already restructured contracts. The restructuring is why Kirk’s cap hit is insane to begin with.

Cam is a starting tackle who isn’t old yet, that’s worth mid rounds especially if he’s better than anyone on the market

we don’t HAVE to resign or keep him but anothher team that doesn’t have a Little might

 

It’s all shaping up for another Eagles collapse where they miss the playoffs, Sirianni gets fired, and the organization stares down the barrel of the gun on all these big contract decisions:

AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert are all effectively under contract through 2025. Extension conversations will bubble this offseason for a couple of them, but will come to a boil next offseason

Haason Reddick and Josh Sweat are both up for extensions this offseason. Do those get done, or will one or the other be punted to the 2025 offseason? All of Darius Slay, James Bradberry, and Avonte Maddox will almost certainly be gone by the start of the 2025 season.

Meanwhile, if Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox, and Brandon Graham (and the Eagles) all decide to run it back together for the 2024 season, it will certainly be the last one.

There’s the potential for a lot of big changes if Sirianni doesn’t improve his scheme and he and the organization don’t nail these coordinator hires.

 

You're underestimating how stingy teams are with picks

I personally would trade a mid round or late for Cam but teams don't do that

He'll be 29 with a 21m cap hit. Nobody is trading for that. Certainly not a mid third. Ezra Cleveland is younger, cheaper, and better, and went for a mid-6th.

 

No one is giving up more than a day three pick for Cam Robinson, who is 29, expensive, in a contract year, not good, and also just served a suspension in this most recent season

 

He’s a lot better than the usual tackle that is on the block
