Why does this site never work? WHY?

 

I know part of it is the twitter embeds because the code is ass (I think the embed issues predate Elon at this point)

Idk why else though

@Jason Tate It'd be cool to have a profile option to disable the embed feature and just see a link. Not sure how difficult that would be, just spitballing on ways to potentially improve performance for an individual user. I'd love to disable Twitter embeds (or all) while I'm on mobile

I forget the numbers but it's something like the average person thinks 88% of drivers are terrible driver, but also 93% of drivers describe themselves as good drivers.

several times a day the site just will not load for me or freezes when I go to make a post, just annoying is all but ya know first world problems or whatever

 

I am a great driver, my dad was a professional fedex driver so it’s in the genes.

 

according to jason its because of how much memory twitter embeds are now using thanks to el*n. he was talking about potentially abandoning embeds all together on the site. what would that do for all of elf's graphs????

 

Yeah it happens to me a lot especially on mobile, I'll go to click on a notification and everything will lock up for minutes

I like this idea in theory, but am concerned that it would be a lot for him as a first time OC and first time playcalling at the NFL level. I think they’re ultimately going to go with someone with playcalling experience this time around after taking a shot on a young, inexperienced guy

With all that said, I’m losing confidence in how their coaching search is going to turn out. Obviously, I could be wrong, but it’s just frustrating to see a dysfunctional franchise do this time and time again…

In 2020, Doug said OC Mike Groh would be back for the season, then Groh got fired soon after that press conference and the organization hired a hodgepodge of offensive coaches with no one designated as an OC. Went on to have their worst season since the end of the Andy Reid era.

In 2021, they were late in the head coaching search because Doug and Howie did their end of season press conference together, confirmed Doug would be back, then fired Doug a week later, thus being behind in searching for head coach candidates.

Last season, they went to the super bowl so of course they were behind in replacing their coordinators, but it wasn’t until around the time of the combine when one or both of them were officially announced as hire.

And now they lose to the Bucs, put off their end of season press conference by over a week to discuss the plan with Sirianni just to do what everyone thought they’d do and now are behind in their search for coordinators and have already lost one they were interested in.

It’s just so exhausting that it’s hard not to laugh at them when a tweet like this comes across my timeline:
