I dislike how 0-100 mph buying a home is. In the process of putting in an offer and there’s all these questions and fancy adult requirements and a shitload of money and everything is NOW! NOW! NOW! They want to decide in 5 minutes, hurry!

Post covid home buying. When I bought in 2016 it was much more relaxed. Maybe you were bidding against one other person. Now you might be bidding against 10.

Yeah, first time buying. Been looking casually since June but one popped up on Friday at 8 pm, I messaged my realtor right away, saw it earlier today and now we’re off and now they want to make a decision tonight. WHY. You have at least 3 offers why the fuck do you “have” to decide tonight. Pretty sure it’s bullshit and just my realtor wanting to press them for a decision so she can make money but whatever lol I’m following along for the “American (debt) dream”.
