I don’t have receipts saved but I know a lot of people didn’t have the lions in the playoffs, let alone the conference championship haha

 

Anyways I worship the moon now

 

they can just extend him eventually and lower that cap hit

not like he's going anywhere, but his new deal is kicking in, sure

 

Even as a patriots fan I feel bad for the Bills. A lot of questionable play calling, but having said that, Josh Allen threw a few beautiful bombs that should have resulted in huge yardage chunks.

Again as a Patriots fan, I get why people hated that team now :) I always do, but seeing the chiefs have the same level of dominance is crazy. 6 AFC title appearances in a row (patriots' had 8) and Mahomes now with his chance for 4th appearance.

A few crazy stats:
- Dude has not never playing in the AFC title game... crazy
- Yesterday was his first playoff game on the road.

I really don't like the Ravens much either, so I'll just go for the NFC to beat whoever wins. Brock Purdy winning would be a nice story as would Kyle Shanahan getting it done after 2 big game failures, and we of course all know why the lions winning would be cool.

 

I will be the first to admit that I was skeptical of the Lions winning the division, let alone a playoff game (LET ALONE TWO PLAYOFF GAMES) because I thought the Vikings were close in quality to them (and they had a pretty good offense before Kirk got hurt!) and I expected a leap from the Bears (which kinda did happen!)

Good for the Lions though and I’m happy to be wrong. I know I’ve been critical of Goff in the past and I still have my concerns with him, but, from everything I’ve heard and seen, he’s playing some of the best ball of his career.

Kudos to them. Happy to take the L

 

The Bills officially squandered Allen's rookie deal though if SB was the goal

 

I don’t feel bad for the Bills at all. They have one of the absolute best QBs in the league and have had so many bites at the apple over the last four seasons. It’s their fault they can’t get it done

 

probably because that is 80 percent of the people here lol

I was very ready to move on from Goff the first part of last season. Something clicked after that though. Yeah, he has some stinkers still, but outside of like 3/4 QBs, they have bad games too.

i do appreciate the story of him redeeming himself after being thrown into a trade that people thought he would just be a stopgap option.

I’ll admit I was even wrong about this team. I expected to make the playoffs, that was my only thought going into this season. So being a game away from making the Super Bowl is nuts to me lol especially with how much I dislike our defense

Trevor Lawrence about to get his new deal, this is the last year of his rookie deal next season FYI

they can tag him in 2025 of course

 

I’m sure the Jags will just pick up his fifth year option and punt that factor down the road one more season
