My gf planned a bunch of things during the games this weekend. I know I say I don’t care much anymore but damn this is the best football weekend of the year. I’m definitely getting away for the lions

 

My wife’s taking forever so I have time to type.

apparently France has a law that prohibits businesses from removing your access to company systems immediately. I guess the idea is to give laid off employees a chance to say goodbye and gather up any materials that may help them in their job search.

So the layoff happens and there’s a big company zoom meeting, but then also a department meeting after. So because she has access still, she joins the department meeting and refuses to leave despite the soft request and general discomfort from the CMO, because she wanted to monitor how they were spinning it. So she stubbornly sat on that meeting for 1.5 hours and it kinda derailed the CMO which kinda proves the point that they were gonna spin it to be about the employees, not the company’s failings.

No, I hate the layoffs and have explained that to as many directors as I can that I think the messaging around them; and the bad faith behavior leading up to them was bullshit.

 

I have a final interview for a job on Monday so who knows what’ll happen next
