Even then though there, are a ton of "Rust Belt" towns outside of the Detroit area that were heavy manufacturing. Jackson, Michigan being one that comes to mind for me. Battle Creek would probably be another I think.

Went to college there actually, never lived here during college since I commuted like most of the student body.

 

can’t you just go to a track and drive a sports car around it? Do they once a year instead of owning it lol.

 

I don't even want to know the cost of tires on a sports car, my Hybrid Fusion is bad enough. Then you are probably going through them even faster because its a sports car.

 

I honestly have never seen the appeal of sports cars/ expensive cars.

My uncle owned a Porsche and I lusted after that car so bad. I swore I'd buy it off him when I grew up. He sold it to some guy named Greg and now I drive a 2014 beat up Sentra with a check engine light on

I drive a Kia hatchback. If I hit the lottery, I MIGHT upgrade to like a Honda or Subaru.

 

Just bought tickets over the last 24 hours to see Thursday, Anthony Green, and This Will Destroy You all in Philly over the next few months so if any of you dorks are going to those gigs, let me know and we can talk shit

 

i don't not care about fancy cars - if i could afford one i'd definitely want one, but it's not like, a goal the way a nice house or comfortable wealth/living is. its like, hey if you can get it cool if not oh well.

 

like, i'd love to drive a BMW. maybe one day i will, but if im driving a subaru in 10 years im also fine with that.

 

This reminds me that I still need to buy tickets to the Postal Service.
