I have not listened but I will say it’s not worth listening to

 

I heard a similar story as this of a podcast once where someone young in the industry was excited to have a scoop and I think they asked Schefter for advice about it, or Schefter got wind of it some way, and Schefter broke it before them

It’s better than the last album and the trilogy, but also 2024 so I wouldn’t have high expectations for anything Green Day who arguably haven’t released a good album since 2009 or 2004 lol

 

lotta folks here really like 21CB but to me that entire thing sounds like songs not good enough to make American Idiot. whole buncha meh.

 

I was 15 when 21CB came out, my dad drove me 30 minutes to another town so I could get the explicit version of the CD (since walmart didnt and maybe still doesn't sell explicit CDs)

decent album

 

21CB was basically the soundtrack to my senior year of high school, so I'll always have a ton of nostalgia for it even though it's too long. I still think it's really good

One listen in, I think Saviors is their best album since at least 21CB and probably their best post-American Idiot release
