By gross I think more just "meh" or unexciting due to the now unrealistic idea of Brady in SF at the time or Belichick in Dallas seemed like such gold. There's a bit more oomph in those scenarios

But I think Bill in Atlanta could be solid

I will never ever buy into Dallas. We were told all year this is the most complete Dallas team in forever and they came out and took a giant shit on the field.

I really just don't think the Falcons aesthetic matches Bill.

 

I get tired of the whole “Falcons just need a QB” dialogue. I don’t disagree that they’d be better with a good QB (obviously they would be). But finding a good QB is usually pretty hard to do. It could be years before they find the guy.

Most bad teams would turn into good teams with a new and improved QB.

not to butt into your convo but I agree with you, that part of the Lamar negotiations always annoys me when its brought up... Teams would have to make an offer, tie up that space, be prepared to lose (and even have) 2 1sts (i think?), alienate whatever QB is on the roster......... and pretty much go through all that knowing Baltimore will match.
