We're 40% of the way through the Watson contract. Almost halfway. The whole trade and guaranteed contract is Haslam so I can't hold that against the other people. Not everybody has the courage to lose their job like Sashi Brown.

 

From what I read Stefanski was active in the recruiting. And I can’t un-hear him praising Watson’s character as the sexual assaults and lawsuits were rolling in by the day. Stefanski was one of his biggest public defenders. Even if he was just keeping his job I can’t root for him again. I know it’ll be a few more years realistically but I’m hoping they’re gone together. Every team has pieces of shit for owners you can’t escape that but I can’t have that in a qb and coach of a team I want to root for.

 

Nah man I live here it’s gross. Watson will hopefully continue to suck and have too much baggage to even be a backup

 

That part I didn’t know lol.

You can understand as a fan of a team with an owner desperate to win, and a glaring hole at QB I’d prefer Watson to stay right where he is than have to deal with even a hint of temptation there.
