Yep, and I’ll add that we don’t know nearly enough about how much say certain coaches get in terms of playcalling. Some OCs are the playcallers until the head coach takes over on third down or in the red zone or in hurry-up situations.

Hell, you can even look at Sean Desai in Philly. Everyone was under the assumption that he was calling the plays as the DC before he was demoted for Patricia, but it was reported a couple weeks after Patricia took over that he was given third down playcalling after the Eagles’ bye week, which was about a month before Desai was officially demoted

Wouldn’t be opposed to him as the new DC or even HC, though I did see someone point out a few days ago that, to the people complaining about Patricia dropping Haason Reddick into coverage more frequently, Vrabel had Harold Landry dropping into coverage more frequently than Patricia had Reddick doing

Small piece of the puzzle though. I largely have liked what Vrabel has done

I've seen Washington a couple times but idk if there's anything to that.

 

I forgot they interviewed Mayo a couple years ago. Just too much smoke with Patriots coaches over the few years for them not to be interested in Bill. Feels more like a matter of when, not if, and that “when” seems to be coming soon.

100%. Tomlin is the blueprint. Buy low on a young guy with vibes because by the time he's "ready", it's too late. San Francisco did this as well
