Yeah I don’t love the Mayo to HC move.

I felt like this team needed a refresh/restart and was suited to bring someone from the outside of this coaching tree (since it’s kinda failed miserably every time). And the team is desperate for a sign of life offensively and now a linebacker coach/DC paired with Bill O’Brien is really gonna make that much of a dent?

Give me Vrabel at this point to feel “good” lol

I think I’d prefer Mayo to Vrabel.

 

Based off every coach who’s derived from the Belichick coaching tree, not sure I wanna try another one from that well to rebuild this team haha especially one who hasn’t even been a true coordinator on either side of the ball.

I don’t really consider Vrabel from that same tree.

I hope Mayo surprises me! But if it’s Mayo/O’Brien that feels a bit of the same old thing. They better hire a freakin’ superstar GM
