Trying to figure out where I'm going to live next. Probably Washington.

Would like to find a place I could call home or give a shit about.

 

At least ABQ probably isn’t as harsh as Phoenix or Las Vegas, but yeah I def don’t think I’d be a fan of the summers out there. Fall could be really really nice though, with the elevation and all.

 

The drive down into Vegas heading north though is incredible

Washington is beautiful but I’m intimidated by the way people describe folks’ social behavior out there. I can’t handle passive aggressive / words not matching actions.

I like my town and would love to live here forever, but houses are unaffordable.

We lucked into a condo years ago but we get yelled at by the HOA for everything such as "feeding the wildlife" (for putting up a birdfeeder) and now are being scammed into paying 10k per unit to construct one of the buildings that burnt down THREE years ago cause the HOA didn't have enough insurance to cover it. They went door to door convincing all the old people to commit insurance fraud to help pay for it.

And my old lady neighbor with 3 little dogs def has a key to our unit and walks around it at night.

 

yeah there definitely is as evidenced by my years spent in foster care due to my parents' substance abuse

Seattle actually is bigger than all those cities. Definitely “feels” bigger than the ones in that list that I’ve been to. The Seattle urban area is enormous.
