I liked Dallas, if I moved to Texas it would probably be Dallas. It’s not totally my vibe, I do prefer the dense / walkable northeast city vibe, but it’s a nice place to raise a family with great food and entertainment

Denton felt cultural and colorful in the way that I wouldn’t mind living there and working there / doing most my local-band shit there and more so going into Dallas or Fort Worth for specific events

Las Vegas is absolute hell on earth and the people there are terrifying. 120 degrees with constant wind that only makes it worse and dudes are walking around in jeans and long sleeves

I have friends from Jacksonville, a married couple who are in a band together, who moved to Albequerque and they love it and are always posting pictures. I’m in awe I want to go visit them. It’s desert but it also has beautiful vegetation, interesting combo

 

The fact that people are actually FROM Las Vegas is wild to me
