Lately my favorite sports game is Session

 

I got REALLY good at tecmo Super Bowl for sega. Then probably the first 2 Tony Hawk games. I could kick ass at those.

a little behind (I had to actually Do My Job) but personally the late 3DS run of Pokemon games are my favorite of the entire series, X&Y, Gen 3 remakes, S&M and their sequels brought me back after basically not playing Gens 4 & 5

 

Best Tony Hawk's were Underground and 3. 2 was also excellent, 1 was okay but it's also a classic so it gets bonus points for that.

 

My brother was oddly very very good at the Ken Griffey Jr game for N64

 

I do like the gen 3 remakes a lot too yeah

 

I recently replayed 1 and 2 on xbox and i didnt remember enjoying anyyyyyyyy of the levels in 2. i OWNED the cruise ship level in 3.

I wish playing online was more of a thing back then, I could’ve been really good at it

I got gold medal in every license test in the game, knew exactly how to take every corner at optimal speed and could adjust based on the car I was driving

 

I like Tony Hawk's Underground games and American Wasteland more than the Pro Skater series, I sorta remember liking Project 8 too

 

Philly and School 2 > Every level in 1 IMO

Cruise ship was AMAZING though yeah

 

I wish more of the series would do what Black/White did and have it be only the new pokemon to use/catch for the main game and open up the rest post game. It made it so exciting to only see these new ones and learn to use them

 

played the shit out of Need For Speed Carbon and Most Wanted too

 

I hope Skate 4 comes out soon and I hope it’s good

It's a bit jank but once I got it down it's everything I wanted Skate to be

 

Tony Hawk 2 has the best levels of all the original Tony hawk games wtf Sean

New York, Philly, School 2, Skate Heaven, Ventura all goated

 

Also re: Dustin I liked THUG 2 more than 1

the story mode of the original was maybe longer and more immersive but I like the levels wayyyy more in 2

 

I haven’t, I’ve thought about picking it up a couple times but heard so many mixed things on it I’ve strayed away. Your endorsement makes me wanna get it though

 

The levels were cool in 2 but I just couldn't get past the story of 2 being such dogshit and being stuck in that stuff

 

Tony Hawk games were the shit. Jamie Thomas was my dude

 

Yeah I imagine the reception is very mixed haha because the control scheme is SO different than other skating games and feels weird as hell at first

But yeah I really really enjoy it, especially how much you naturally improve your own gameplay and discover new things as you go
