I drive a 2010 Honda Civic that's been paid off for years - recently my brakes went out and resulted in a very minor car accident with some cosmetic damage so I just dropped like 2 grand on that repair but worth it to still not have a car payment.

my wife has a 2021 Nissan Rogue that her company gave her so we have zero car payments

 

not having a car payment my entire adult life is probably one of the best (and only good) financial decisions I've made

definitely could afford a nicer and newer car, but i'd rather spend that money on micro-transactions and Panda Express

I think I've told the story on here before about how my neighbor is a legitimate hoarder and a horrible human being/shithead

one night someone left a toilet out on the curb for trash and no joke this MF goes out and brings it back into his house. Now we have cameras and I have never seen him take a toilet OUT of there. So I like to imagine he just has someone's used shit toilet in his hoarded up house somewhere still.

I had homeowner come to my work once and ask about warranty for their toilet. I ask them if they bought from us and they said that they took it from someone's front yard.
