Applying to jobs instead of being productive for work.

This one company says it'll take 15-20mins to apply through their system. wtf, it's 2024. If it requires more effort than uploading a resume, I dip. I don't even do cover letters.

So a townhome across the street with the exact same layout as ours (honestly probably a little less updated too) just sold this week for $365k. The next day, it was listed for rent for $2,750/month lmao

For reference, we bought our house in 2017 for $229k and have about ~$200k left on the mortgage. Our mortgage payment right now is $1,500.

I wish we didn't need the equity in this house when we move here soon otherwise I'd rent this bitch out too

on the one hand I am stoked to make ~$165k when we sell, but on the other hand when we buy we're gonna get fucked on that end too

as someone who worked as a waiter through high school and college, I dont envy that job

 

yeah, when you’re buying and selling your own house, making money doesn’t really matter if it’s just getting rolled into the next house you buy since the price of the new one is inflated by that amount too

but unfortunately losing money does because that’s the difference between potentially being underwater on a house or not being able to afford a down payment on the next one

Got a toll invoice in the mail and it is charging me $157 for several unpaid tolls from September. First off - if they ever sent me the invoice it would have been paid. I'm guilty of stacking up toll invoices, but since NONE are on my counter I know I paid everything off. Also, the tolls I went through back then had PEOPLE working in them and I GAVE THEM the 75 cents.

 

Oh sure, I'm not saying that in relation to you. I'm saying that in relation to like the nearly two years of whining and complaining about Brittany Mahomes, which I'm now also lumping into the conversation Taylor Swift as a "please shut the fuck up and just admit you hate women being involved in football" because if Jacoby Brissett was a bad tipper I doubt it would be a story.

But yes, Brittany should also be tipping 25% and probably does suck. I just don't think the overwhelming majority of people who complain about her care whether she sucks.
