Taking a day off for no real reason and just lounging is the best. My parents watched Milo a few weeks back so beads and I could have a date night and we literally just went to the movies, went to target and then just lounged around the house. It was awesome.

 

my wife (here you go @imthegrimace) got a medical card but literally hasn't used it yet

 

Sitting at home makes me anxious because I feel like there's a lot I need to do, however, I have trouble motivating myself to do it, and then I just play Madden for a few hours. it's not good.

It's a funny experience working for a company that sells automation and improved efficiency, and fights against any internal strategy to automate our processes or improve our efficiency.

 

My manager is off today so I’m sitting at home and planning to read all day #nerd

 

We have unlimited pto at my job but are encouraged to use at least a few weeks. I admittedly don’t officially ask for that many days off and instead just don’t work some days if I don’t wanna. I wfh and they don’t monitor me so they don’t fucking know.

but also fuck my company for not giving me raises anymore because I’m paid too high for their salary range. Fuck off. It’s not that high. I’m dying here.
