I changed my mind. Give it to Shane Steichen if Colts win. He didnt have his starting QB for the majority of the season.

Regardless of who yall like for COTY, Demeco has done a hell of a job overall with this roster

    My coach B-)

    The rivalry is back on

Steichen and Ryans have the same resume except Steichen’s is like if Stroud went out for the season in week 3 and he was riding Case Keenum to a plus-.500 record

We have no idea how Richardson would have played for a full season though. It’s not like he lost Mahomes.

    Thats kinda disrespectful to Minshew

You cant compre Keenum to Minshew

Plus Minshew has been in the league for 5 years or so

edit: i was looking at it from present day Keenum who is awful, but career wise i do see the numbers comparison

Steichen has done a tremendous job

I just think that comparison is kinda whack myself

@CarpetElf speaking of - remember when I said the broadcast mentioned Josh Allen was second in the league in pressures with 88, and you were like “wtf that’s wrong”? ESPN says the same thing post-game

    IMG_6379.jpeg

meanwhile, pro-football-reference obviously tallies pressures very differently, as they only credit Josh Allen with 44 pressures.

these are the skeptical questions I have with how advanced pass rush stats are tallied -

Similar questions arise when it comes to pass rush win rate. PFF says Josh Allen is top 10 with over 20%…. ESPN says Josh Allen is not even in the top 25 (suggesting he’s less than 18%). And that especially confuses me if ESPN has Josh SECOND in pressures… how can a guy be second in pressures, third in sacks, but not even be top 25 in win rate if it’s all the same source tallying those stats?

I will say it’s interesting that we have so many legit candidates and none of them are named Belichick, Carroll, Tomlin, Reid and honestly Harbaugh isn’t really either.

Minshew is on his third team in five years. He's just a younger Keenum

Idk I think Case Keenum and Gardner Minshew are very similar players — shorter, air raid/gunslinger types in college with limited arms that aren’t covered without talking about their moxie

Keenum is 35 and Minshew is 27 and that certainly makes a difference, but this is Minshew’s first season with a QBR > 45 (besides a 2 game sample in his first Philly year), so I think it’s fine to frame that way

    Minshew is only 27???????????????????????????????????????????

Yes Sean. You see most average rookie players are around 22-23 and since hes been playing for 5 years, that would make him 27.

Let me know if you ever have any issues using math.
