Oh for sure. I mean, I think pressures can be very subjective, but I get how they lead to future sacks. Brandon Graham was, like, the king of pressures for years before finally having his first double-digit sack season of his career last season

 

Yuuupp. Sacks alone can be misleading. I forget who it was - Vic Beasley maybe? - had like 15 sacks but like 30% were unblocked and another 30% were on busted plays.

 

Need to see more stuff on the west.

It’s disappointing that both Reddick and Sweat (especially Sweat) have lost a bit of juice since the bye. Sweat had already played significantly more snaps this season than he did all of last season and I know the organization has valued rotating the defensive line to keep players fresh. There’s been much less of that this season, which is concerning for Sweat specifically with his injury history prior to the NFL.

Reddick and Sweat are one of the best edge rush duos in the league, but they haven’t looked like it lately and the combination of Brandon Graham and Nolan Smith behind them have not contributed as much as they should be in order to keep Reddick and Sweat fresh.

 

Half of OKC was pretty nice. And east Oklahoma is just western Arkansas which is pretty. But the bit is the bit so fuck em

 

100%. Definitely one of those “The truth is somewhere in the middle.” I think players that are popping in multiple stats between sacks, hits, and pressures are usually the ones who are really worth keeping an eye on. Of course, gotta watch the games too, but you get that.
