Yeah all this is fine and dandy but one decently healthy year by Zion eliminates basically all this analysis so I reserve the right to continue rooting for him

If you want to bet that that’s never happening, that’s fair. As a fan though, you can’t blame me for continuing to be interested in their potential.

 

because they have a deeper bench than most teams and that bench is used to playing against starters. People be mad underrating the Pels core if they think it’s only BI and Zion. But forgetting we kept up in close games with a lot of those playoff teams even when Zion and BI were missing a lot of time

we have two outstanding defenders (Herb Jones, Jose Alvarado) coming off the bench and we just drafted a talented shooter (Hawkins) who should be coming off the bench once Trey Murphy is back. Our 6th, 7th, 8th man could be the difference if we ever went into the playoffs with our top 5 intact
