I've been to NYC once. Almost every time I would smell piss, we would come around a corner and there was always a dude just casually pissing on a building.

60 minute train ride isn’t horrible, i kinda love the luxury of Baltimore and DC being that short of a distance away from each other

I prefer to drive to some parts of DC but other parts free parking is impossible to find and traffic is worse and I’d rather train (especially Waterfront / Smithsonian / Navy Yard areas)

ironically the areas that are most like this are the super touristy areas because thats where the most people go, so a lot of homeless people naturally flock to the area, so peoples perception is always 'nyc is disgusting' because they only went to times square and saw a bum pissing on bubba gump shrimp.
