Exactly - when a new album gets announced everyone will migrate to that new album thread and use it fully for the new album cycle.

That band made exactly one (1) good album in 2005 and I mostly credit the producer at this point

No idea why there’s still all this debate about them when Max has been a documented dirtbag for at least 15 years

 

Even his shitty family stuff aside, which probably shouldn’t be the public’s business even though it looks really bad… the guy literally steals money from fans. Sells them custom songs for $200 that he never writes. “Hires” them to run merch tables and then never pays. Has “workshops” and “lessons” for sale where he just holds a listener hostage to his unhinged bullshit. Sets up relief funds for Ukraine and kickstarters for his kids and keeps all the money. And to believe he wrote “wow I can get sexual too”, a song about cyber sex with minors, ironically, is to be wildly naive and I can’t believe we all (myself included) used to brush that kinda shit under the rug as a joke or something

 

And people still like “yeah his podcasts and lyrics are so personal and vindictive and share so much private information about other people that it’s extremely cringe,

and yeah he’s probably a shitty father / serial manipulator / hinted at engaging in pedophilia / has had violent episodes with bandmates,

and yeah he cyclically and repeatedly grifts his fanbase every time money gets tight and doesn’t respect them, but refuses to get a real day job to support his kids,

and yeah he falsely and hypocritically white knights for any cause that he thinks will cover up his own transgressions like mental health and MeToo, and yeah he’s obsessed with talking about cum and using very sexist language even in his most recent song titles…
