The 1996-1999 Steve Spurrier Gators and the mid 2000s Urban Meyer Gators (when I was sadly too naive and too influenced by Florida culture to know how shitty they were) were fuckin dominant & we drafted Fred Taylor outta there so I loved them as a kid & teenager. Got to see multiple national championship wins. Got to see us at least sometimes beat the shit out of other dominant teams like Georgia, FSU, LSU, Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma etc

And yes the Tim Tebow championship season is some of the best football I ever watched. Fuck him and that team, and it’s pretty hilarious he peaked at like age 20 and it’s been all downhill from there, but that was a pretty special (and record breaking) college season.
