honestly, hard to say. he played under the worst coach in the country most of his time here. There were flashes of “wow where did that come from” once Key took over but then there was some weirdness about why he didn’t play in the last couple of games. He was injured in the Duke game but supposedly available the following 2 but refused to go in and then left the team before the UGA game.

 

Id imagine its moreso his OC at oregon just bolted. The list of freshman qbs that start as true freshman is very very small.

 

Nah it’s been made clear playing immediately was a major priority for him, he’s competing with a Kent state transfer at Ucla, would not have had an opportunity to start til year 2 at Oregon.
Dillingham leaving was a factor but he would have flipped regardless

 

i would also bet that UCLA going to a real conference and oregon being stuck in the pac. being able to play games a lot closer to detroit has got to be a draw for him and family

 

The pac makes up a third of the top 15 and only 1 of those is a defector

 

The PAC-12 is a much better conference than the ACC/on par with the Big 12, so not sure how it's not "real"

So Wisconsin is playing Oklahoma State tonight at 9:15PM Central time. Both teams are from the central time zone. So both teams' fans have to stay up past midnight on a weeknight to watch a low-tier bowl game? Whose idea was that?

 

Bowl games all day and night! Love being on the west coast and having games on from 9AM-11PM.
