Fritz would've been awesome for GT but I think Key earned that job.

Everyone upset about Tennessee being 7th. They lost Hooker. They're lucky they aren't lower lol

Tennessee against South Carolina WITH Hooker was a giant yikes.

Head to Head, strength of record and schedule, top 25 results, and common opponent results are supposed to matter to the committee. We beat Alabama, soundly, on all four. And scored 56 with Milton running the offense a week later. It’s 100% about brand name and the committee can’t pretend otherwise after SCar also beat Clemson and jumped into the top 20.

Yeah, we blew that game and it sucks, but there is exactly zero relevant metrics where Bama should be ranked ahead of us other than lol it’s Saban. Neither of us should be in the playoff, but we should get first pick of the bowls—which is what that ranking is about more than anything at this point.

At the end of the day, isn’t the committee also supposed to base it on who they think are the best teams? With hookers injury, I think that’s what would put me in doubt

They supposedly make that decision based on those listed metrics. And Tennessee missed zero beats with Milton running the offense.

it’s more interesting they ranked osu ahead of bama. which seems to indicate if USC loses, it’s OSU in. osu-uga semi would go dummy

A OSU/Michigan national championship rematch would be something

I think it tracks. They clearly think the Big Ten East is the best conference division in the nation based on the rankings of Mich/OSU/Penn St all in the top 10, so the one-loss second place team having the fast track is exactly the precedent they set with the SEC East earlier in the season before Tennessee lost again.

If Ohio State can't stop Michigan at home, I don't really think they can stop Georgia in Atlanta. But Ohio State also snuck in during 2014 and won the whole thing, too.

oh, i mean, i agree with the logic. i’m just surprised. i just assume they’ll give bama the benefit of the doubt every chance they’ll get.

Sounds like Deion is leaving. Cincy would make the most sense

Cinci is going to the big 12 and has a much better football program. USF is hot garbage.

Cincy going to the Big 12 is huge. UCF also going to the Big 12 is huge too. Extends their already big recruiting advantage over USF.

Both those schools are going to get smacked around the next couple years.
I dont think Cincy makes a lot of sense for Deion. Ditto Colorado.
I'd love to see him take on Colorado though.
