Bama did hire Mike Price once upon a time.

 

His issue was he didnt know doo doo about defense and when his guy Casteel spurned him to stay at WVU he had no counter. Well thats the high level reason at least.

 

This is facts but even then I don't think Casteel would have worked, that 3-3-5 was doomed to fail in the Big Ten. Then he forced his defensive coordinators to run it even though the two he hired had no clue about it. Scott Shafer had a damn good defense when he was D Coordinator at Syracuse right after.

 

I'd love to have seen the 3-3-5 with casteel as a "what would have happened if" scenario.

georgia tech fans threw dead fish, liquor bottles, and eggs at notre dame players in the 60s and 70s.

i know auburn and tennessee fans were the culprits, not sure which did what, but georgia tech's ramblin wreck was shot several times with a shotgun and also had the seats/rumble seat shredded which maybe they deserved for the notre dame stuff..lol

 

we threw a singular golf ball exactly one time, lol. the singular mustard bottle the same day is a much funnier occurrence to mention.
