I just want Bama to squirm a little. Missing out on their supposed top 3 targets would be magical.

The odds for Harbaugh coaching Michigan (or its listed as non NFL team) have really changed within the past 24 hours. I believe him not coaching an NFL team has moved from +700 to -175 in like 24 hours.

It went from really high plus odds meaning the books thinking it was less likely to happen to negative odds and it being the worst odds given by the books now. So this means that they think that this is now the more likely outcome. There has been some chatter from Michigan insider folks that the feeling is he is coming back, these are folks who when the Vikings thing was going down were certain he was leaving.

Now some of that line movement could be because the books were taking a ton of money on it at those plus odds and were trying to lower their risk by moving it down as well but I don't think it would move that much and that quickly just solely on that. I am not an expert on this though.

It takes a special type of racism and social ineptitude to mimic that of Harsin. Get out of here with your wishful thinking.

Honestly I’m super excited by the hire. He’s done really well at Wash and the lower levels. I think he’s got the chance to have a lot of success as long as we Alabama fans give him so time and realistic expectations because no one is going to rival Saban and holding anyone to that standard will crush the program.

Smart move especially with Washington losing so much talent. The team would easily lose 4-5 games next year and he’s cashing in on all of the momentum he built within the program.

I mentioned on Twitter this would've been like Bama hiring Sonny Dykes at the end of last season.

I will say though: I heard a lot of "guy to take the fall for the next 3-4 years" and he fits that mold perfectly. If the bottom drops out (is only winning 8-9 games a year) he can go run back to the west coast and probably name his job.

Having to go to Knoxville and Baton Rouge for your first two true SEC away games (I’m not counting their Vandy game earlier in the season) is quite the welcome to anyone who comes into the position.

Does Grubb go with Deboer to Alabama or does he take over at Washington?
