you never know what happens if they have as sloppy of a first half as they’ve had every game this season so far against an actually somewhat competent team like Wake next week or NC State the week after

 

A sold out game vs Florida in which we’re checkering the stadium and Game Day is coming. What could possibly go wrong?! If Peyton shows up, it’ll complete the trifecta of Vol superstitions.

O’Brien would be a good hire. He wouldn’t be my first choice, but he’d be fine.

He deserves all of the hate he gets for what he did at the NFL level with Houston, but he did a lot of great things at Penn State.

 

Yeah I'm sure BoB would be good. He's a college coach through and through but Lance and Campbell are just so much easier to root for. And I like the narrative of them working up to reviving this historic program vs. BoB working down haha

 

I still don’t follow why Campbell would turn down all the roles he reportedly has in the past, only to take the Nebraska job now

 

You have to respect campbells agent for constantly getting him raises tho lol

 

My uninformed guess is that maybe he’d eventually jump for one of the powerhouse Midwest teams like Ohio St if they ever came calling, but otherwise, he’s at Iowa St for the long haul
