If you think about it, Oregon state got what they deserve. They doomed the pac by refusing to fire Larry when everyone knew he was on a yacht in the Bahamas most of the year and now they’re going to be stuck in a completely shit conference just as they were on the upswing. If anyone is to blame it’s them

Oregon and Washington are rumored for the Big 10. Arizona and Arizona State for the Big 12.
I imagine Washington State and Oregon State will follow soon after. ACC apparently is next on the chopping block? Clemson, FSU, and Miami rumors swirling too.

If the SEC, Big 10, and Big 12 all go to 16 teams, do the leftovers of the Pac and ACC create a new 4th 16-team conference?

    big fan of Lanning's reaction

    I hope he does well

  9. seen FSU/Miami and FSU/Clemson to B1G several places now..apparently if enough teams leave the ACC at once no one has to pay the exit fees or whatever.

Kinda funny. In the end I could totally see a scenario where we get 3 or 4 major conferences, and they're all split into 2 divisions.

Therefore essentially its back to status quo and in the end we just got rid of the acc and pac

    The rivalry is back on

It is surprising to me that Clemson/FSU would land in B1G instead of SEC but that’s a neat rumor

Isn’t there a long-standing rumor that Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina want to block FSU-Clem-GTech from joining?

  15. Uga definitely won’t vote to let Tech back in. Even Bear Bryant advocating for it years after Dodd pulled them out couldn’t change the rest of the schools’ minds.

Having said that I’ve also seen several rumors about the B1G being interested in Tech for the Atl TV market/recruiting, and being AAU certified but I can’t imagine they’d take them ahead of Clemson/FSU/Miami if given the choice.

Probably but there was also the rumor that Texas A&M would adamantly oppose Texas joining and it happened

idk what better options there would be in an arms race to add teams besides Notre Dame

Apparently Miami is rumored for the SEC not Big Ten. I'd imagine ACC tries to do some damage control and add USF and Coastal

Are we kicking out a team for Miami?

  19. may i suggest taking back founding member georgia tech instead of miami.

please. B1G too, i'm not picky lol

idk man how is the Big 10 not the Big 22

  25. I know how this sounds but fuck it it’s the off season

According to some guy on this Georgia Tech forum that has “insider sources” Florida State leaving the ACC is a done deal and will be announced tomorrow and their game with Tech in Ireland next year is all but dead.
