Pushing the chips in on Embiid and Maxey was really the only move to make, but I'm glad it's resolved

Yeah let Maxey soar. The picks, RoCo back and Batum are fine enough, especially when Harden wasn't going to play.

I'm bummed LA didn't really give up much of value, but at least Philly got guys back who will play in games. I think Morey's plan has been to clear cap room for next summer anyway, so this still accomplishes that. And 2028 is far enough out that LA might be terrible by then. As for the Clippers, it's entirely possible that none of Harden, PG, or Kawhi are even there next season, so that's fun.

    Nope. Supporter

The dudes the Sixers are getting have to be the most traded players of all time combined right? RoCo alone might take it

A quick google search says it's Trevor Ariza with 9

It would be so funny if Harden resigns with the Clippers but then PG and Kawhi decide to leave.

I'm good with either direction. Sixers also got a pretty decent-sized trade exception with today's deal.

I want a world where PG and Kawhi leave, but Harden and Russ stay.

This Clippers team is not a contender, but I suppose it would also be funny if Russ and Harden won the championship because then all of that core (KD, Russ, Harden, and even Ibaka) would have won a championship after they left OKC.

On another Clipper-related note, I'm curious to see how Orlando looks against them tonight coming off last night's loss. Specifically, will Paolo play better? I know he hurt his thumb during FIBA play, and he just hasn't looked good since. Mosley is emphasizing more ball movement, but Paolo's not making many of the jumpers he does take and his free throw shooting has really dropped off. His defense is better, and he's more patient on offense, but he doesn't look like the same scorer he did at times last year. I'd be less worried if he hadn't looked just as underwhelming during the preseason, to be honest.

Need a Thunder Clippers first round this year

    (more realistically a play-in game)

it's not like they were going to win anyway

kawhi chipped and his knees needed 4 years to recover. PG similarly could drop at any second. westbrook and harden are westbrook and harden. clips washing out at the semis again is the best scenario with this lineup
