Literally the oldest player in the league lol he’s ridiculous and I can’t believe we still get to watch him do that

  11. being serious when I say trade Embiid and build around Maxey

  12. This might just be an overreaction to game one, but the Hornets actually look like a solid basketball team. Still too young overall, but the young core of Melo, Miller, PJ, and Williams could be really good. Mark Williams is going to be a force defensively. Miller showing serous promise. And both things will help Melo continue his development.

While it’s a great feeling to have 4 young players I believe in, the problem comes with, what’s the next move? How do we build around these guys to make them better?

MJ is gone and that’s fantastic. And initially I was happy that new ownership typically leads to a new front office. But this front office drafted the 4 guys I listed above. They also drafted Bridges, who from a basketball stand point was a great pick. Unfortunately, he’s a piece of shit and I need him off the team.

I really have no clue what they’ll do from here. And I don’t know who will be making the decisions. But at least there’s a little bit of hope.

Ok I’m finally able to come down from the lakers experience last night.

The stretch where KD went off in the 3rd quarter was so crazy. They were doubling him hard and he hit so many tough shots. Dude is amazing.

And the fact that lebron can still flip the switch and take over when he needs to is so wild.

Crazy that over 10 years later (and after an Achilles for KD!) that those two can still perform the way they do.

Lakers are….unimpressive otherwise though lol. I honestly don’t understand how AD looks as pedestrian as he does.

the way the media is handling the dwight stuff is so gross. i don't want to be out here caping for a sexual assaulter but believe it or not you can discuss it and not a) make jokes or b) be squirming in your seat discussing it because of his sexuality

AD was great last night lol, he’s never gonna be reliable every single night but the takes after his bad games are a bit much

The thing with AD is he just puts up ridiculous stats most of the time and people think ho hum lol. For whatever reason his 30-12-3-3 just comes off super unimpressive. A lot of times I think where is AD and then look at the stat line and am like holy shit lol.

yeah i guess its just wild how his stats dont seem to have an impact on the flow or momentum of the game (not really stats to back up this gut feeling lol) - but compared to people like lebron, giannis, dame, etc who put their stamp on the game and you know it's a signature performance AD's game just feels so inconsequential.

  19. Max_123

    Nope. Supporter

The problem with AD is that ~the media~ talks about him as some generational player when he simply is not. Really, up until last year, ~the media~ still had him over Jokic

Again, he won them the game last night in the fourth quarter. He loses them some games and he wins them a lot of games. He’s a frustrating player but his impact is very obvious if you’re watching the game and he’s having an on night

they're not in that game without ad, but they dont win that game without lebron. they aren't winning that if lebron doesn't take over and score down the stretch
