  2. Utah definitely needs him. 100% great fit. Perfect fit there. Doesn’t fit in Detroit. Nope.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

If we sign Tobias I really might pull a Drew and root for a good team instead

    I’m intrigued

I did root for them back in the KD/Harden/Russ days because they were so fun to watch and the pistons were still dog water then

really is wild to think about how long they’ve been bad lmao yall had a successful period, dark times, then success again in the time we’ve done absolutely nothing

    Hi Joe,

Celtics fan here. We’re happy to have you. We won the championship, Jayson Tatum is a wholesome af father, Al Horford is a grizzled vet anyone can get behind, and Derrick White and Jrue Holiday are fun as hell to watch.

Looks like Highkin covers the Blazers...

Harris' father is working very hard for the money.

In the market for a new team to root for since the Bulls are going to suck forever and signed the last guy in the league i would want them to sign. Bucks got ruined for me by a certain fan in this thread, even though i like driving up for games. Probably gonna be like the Thunder or Wolves or something.

It’s still kind of crazy that Toronto isn’t seen as a destination. It’s the fourth largest city in North America! It’s supposed to be a pretty great city from what I understand too.

Don’t they have to pay 2 different federal income taxes

    Nope. Supporter

I agree but the NBA is really weird when it comes to perception of small market/big market teams

I actually think that’s true of most players? But I could be wrong.

I wonder if that’ll change if the league continues to be come more international or if just more Canadian players become stars. Maybe the city just needs to do one of those crazy marketing campaigns to convince everyone its cool.

All professional athletes pay income tax in every state they play a game in.

so, for nba players, 41 game checks are taxed in the state where they play their home games. The other 41 game checks are taxed in the states where those games are played.

Right we were talking in the federal level. Idk if playing in Toronto for a game or two necessitates a federal income tax for Canada as well or not
