Spurs are the perfect trade partners for Trae. They own some of Atlantas picks to begin with. I’d imagine he ends up there or in LA.

I see a lot of people speculating Spurs needing to trade 4 & 8 + some of Atlanta picks back and I don’t think San Antonio is gonna do all that. Maybe one of those picks and their picks back.

That would be an absurd amount of picks for Trae

 

Spurs is kind of perfect for him though, pair him with a generational rim defender so his poor defense doesn't matter as much, and Wemby gets someone who can throw him a pass. I think you pay whatever price they want and then fill in the rest with role players.

 

I've seen Edey mocked to Miami a lot. While I definitely think they need size, idk if I see it happening just based off Spo's style. The other one I've seen regularly is a guard like Jared McCain.

 

Trae being a 3x all-star while Jamal has none only solidifies we need to ban the Eastern conference

I am when it comes to nominations and awards! If you're going to tie in contract incentives to them, then they should all be conference agnostic. I get that the All-NBA awards are, but players still have incentives for All-Star nominations too (and this goes for every league not just the NBA)
