There's a part of me that really wanted Orlando to go with Chet last year. I like Paolo, but I still think Chet's skills would actually fit better with their current (emphasis on that word) lineup. Fultz needs the ball to be effective, and Chet is a good shooter off the ball. Wendell Carter is a solid defender, but he's not a shot blocker. Chet obviously is. That said, I'm not sure Chet has first option potential, so Paolo obviously fits that need better.

I think Paolo is gonna be the better player, but Chet brings all the right things to a team, mainly shooting and defense. You have to build around Paolo but Chet would fit pretty much every team.

If he is healthy and playing well, Pels aren’t moving him because that would basically be the death knell of the franchise in NOLA. No way he gets dealt under those circumstances.

If he is injured / bad, who is trading for that contract? He’s got five years and $200 million left.
