I have a big problem with highlight videos. It used to be just a handful of plays on ESPN with a little commentary about the narrative of the game. Now I mostly watch like House of Highlights style longer recaps, which the NBA puts out too. And those are more comprehensive, but it’s really just compilations of made shots. It leaves out defensive plays, fights, injuries, and has like no narrative. I


I feel like it wouldn’t be that hard to have a happy medium, longer highlight compilations that talk more about what happened in the game than just having back to back made buckets for ten minutes.
