The thing every analyst etc tends to forget about the Pelicans, is their bench playing elite defense is half of why they’re good

 

We might be a better defensive team without Zion tbh although that’s changing, Zion got a lot better at defense his last 30 games or so

but on offense the impact is pretty tough, we have to shoot really well and get some offensive boards to win without him. Ingram, Trey, CJ, Jonas all gotta be ON

Heat probably lose in 5-6. I’m not going to fully count them out because Spo is a mad man and I wanted them to lose in the play-in last year for rest and they proved me wrong. But trying to win without Jimmy and Rozier missing at least 2 games is a tall task.

It would take Bam and Herro really stepping up and Jaquez would have to be at mid-season form before his injury to make up for Jimmy being out for them to have any chance at sniffing a series win. Ultimately they most likely lose the series.
