it’s been eight years since two one seeds met in the finals. almost like anything can happen in the playoffs.

 

True Denver is more likely to fall before the finals - tougher conference

That and also Boston is really fucking good

 

they are but acting like it’s a gimme that the team that seems to play down to the level of their opponents constantly and can’t maintain a lead in crunch time without nearly blowing it is going to cruise to the finals is more than a little goofy, especially considering a) their issues with the heat historically, b) embiid coming back and philly looking as good as boston before he got hurt, c) giannis being better than any individual on the celtics, d) it’s the playoffs and random shit happens constantly????

 

I do not appreciate the absurd amount of Drew-jinx being thrown onto my team. Leave us alone.

Doesn't the fact that they clinched a playoff spot despite not winning in a week point to them actually being pretty good and just in a slump/the competition they're gonna have to deal with also being bad?

I think it just means that all the teams in the east are pretty mid at best

 

Hoping the Celtics get upset by the Heat or Sixers, but the teams just don’t seem good enough / healthy enough. Maybe the Magic could make a run. But it looks like Celtics could go to the finals without losing a game.

and if you told me every series in the West was going to go game 7 I’d believe you.
