  1. (It was more a joke that Pat and I root for the same teams so he’ll never be able to avoid me.)

I started following the Bucks because i was never into basketball as a kid and thus never felt any loyalties to the knicks and was obsessed with giannis' story as soon as he burst onto the scene.

    go buck.

yeah i live in charlotte now. i hated favre as a kid lol. i didn't dislike some of the Rodgers teams but it felt bandwagony to hop on around the time of their SB. it also felt nice to root for a team in the city where i live and it wasn't going to happen for basketball since that's too entrenched and there's no baseball or hockey here (unfortunately)

There was the stretch during most of Dirk's career where they finished above 50 wins for like 11 years in a row, and only made it passed the semifinals twice. Thank god we got 2011

It really was. I remember being at my exes for the Destruction of the Lakers' Dynasty game and her roommates getting pissed off because I was screaming so much

I was at Bonnaroo when they won it, great vibes in the tent they had set up

My dad was a big Dirk fan and losing his mind that whole run. He kept giving up early in games and they kept making wild comebacks.
