The only good thing about having a lot of national TV games is that it means your team is good. Otherwise the games are on later and they last longer. It's the same as having 1 p.m. games in the NFL

 

Part of me thinks the league is as wide open as its ever been again this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if we're in the middle of a Denver threepeat either.

And they'd still get less national games than the Warriors / Lakers / Celtics after that too.

gotta figure there will be an east and west expansion. charlotte would be great.

 

Gotta say, these USA World Cup teams have been looking underwhelming on paper, but Kerr is making it work. They're super young and the overall talent in the World has gotten better, so I still wouldn't be surprised if someone gets the best of them on a bad day. But they're looking really good and fun as hell to watch.
